Master Gardeners Assist Town With Flowers

Some of Russell County’s Extension Master Gardener Trainees have volunteered at the Town of Lebanon recently and arranged this year’s plants for display around town. Vice Mayor DeAnna Jackson is chair of the town’s Parks and Recreation Committee, which is in charge of the town’s flowers. Once the Master Gardener Trainees complete their 50 hours of service to their community they will receive the official Master Gardener title. The Town of Lebanon was excited to utilize their skills and assist them with their service hours.
