Employment Opportunity – Police Department

The Town of Lebanon Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Community Police Officer.  The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of Law Enforcement procedures as they apply to a community oriented police department, demonstrate the ability to conduct thorough investigations, collect and preserve evidence, provide courtroom testimony, understand law and regulations, comply with department procedures, deal respectfully and tactfully with the public, communicate effectively, work cooperatively with the department and all other town personnel, and must be in good physical condition to meet the physical demands of the job.

All applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and must be 21 years of age by the date of employment to be a qualified applicant. 

Applications can be obtained at the Lebanon Town Hall, 405 West Main Street, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.  Applicants must attach a Resume.  The deadline for applications is Friday, December 27, 2019, at 4:00 PM.
